Snowmobile Safari 2H
Recommended for beginners and experienced drivers.
Looking for a snowmobile experience with more time to ride, explore and enjoy the Arctic wilderness?
If you want more than a short introduction to snowmobiling, but don't need a full-day adventure, our 2-hour Snowmobile Safari is the perfect choice. With 2 full hours of snowmobile riding, you have enough time to properly get into the experience, explore further and enjoy the freedom of riding through the snowy landscapes of Lapland.
This experience is designed for adults and more adventurous travellers who want to spend a good amount of time actually riding a snowmobile, while still enjoying a relaxed and personal experience in a small group.
More time riding. More time exploring.
Before setting off, our professional guides will explain everything you need to know about driving the snowmobile and safety. Whether it is your first time on a snowmobile or you already have experience, we make sure you feel comfortable before starting the ride.
Once everyone is ready, the adventure begins.
You will spend approximately 2 hours riding through snowy Arctic forests, open areas and winter trails around Rovaniemi. The longer riding time allows us to explore further than on our shorter safari and gives you more time to enjoy the Arctic wilderness from the snowmobile.
The route and pace are adapted to the driving skills and experience of the group. Beginners can take their time getting comfortable with the snowmobile, while more experienced riders can enjoy a more dynamic pace and make the most of the trails and conditions.
Along the way, we make stops to enjoy the scenery, take photos and experience the peaceful Arctic surroundings. We don't rush from one stop to the next, and the exact route and distance depend on the conditions and the pace of the group.
Small groups. A more personal experience.
At SnowRide Lapland, we do things differently from large tour operators.
Unlike large operators that run massive groups and have to work to a very tight schedule, we keep our groups small, with a maximum of 8 guests. For us, small groups are an essential part of providing a high-quality snowmobile experience.
Our guides can focus on the people in front of them, adapt the pace to the group and make the most of the conditions on the day. If everyone is comfortable and enjoying the ride, we can often spend a little longer exploring the trails rather than rushing from one stop to the next.
We also separate adult groups from family tours, allowing us to keep the experience more dynamic and adapt the pace to the group.
Our guides have several years of real experience snowmobiling and leading tours in Lapland. They know the trails and Arctic conditions and will provide professional guidance throughout the experience, always with your safety as the top priority.
Quality from start to finish
We use newest-generation snowmobiles, carefully maintained and prepared for Arctic conditions. We also provide high-quality winter equipment, including thermal clothing, boots, gloves, helmet and balaclava, so you can stay warm and comfortable throughout the safari.
Pick-up and drop-off are available from all hotels and accommodations within 15 km of Rovaniemi city centre, including hotels, Airbnb apartments, Booking.com accommodations and other holiday rentals.
Groups of 8 or more are organised as a private experience with their own guide at no extra cost.
This safari is especially suitable for travellers who want more than a standard introduction to snowmobiling, but don't need the extended riding time of our 4-hour adventure.
If you want to properly experience snowmobiling in Lapland, explore the Arctic trails and spend two full hours riding through the snowy wilderness, this is a great choice.
More time on the snow. More Lapland to explore. ❄️🛷
